Helianthus - 2D Mammography System

This mammo unit only allows the acquisition of 2D digital mammography images. However, the system is designed to be integrated at any time with the most current diagnostic methods, such as tomosynthesis and dual-energy (contrast-enhanced mammography). A wide range of accessories allows the configuration for all interventional practices (including stereotactic and tomo-guided biopsy).

Smoother movements thanks to the isocentric servo-assisted movements of the C-arm. Extensive rotational and translation movements for patient`s quick and easy positioning.

All the exam parameters are easily accessible on the 7" color touchscreen displays on the C-arm`s sides.

To guarantee confident and accurate diagnosis, the Helianthus system is outfitted with state-of-the-art features such as automatic collimation, “Smart μ Press” compression system and the powerful POEt (Processing for Optimal Enhancement) software.
