Description：Tetracosactide acetate is a synthetic peptide stimulating the release of corticosteroids such as cortisol from the adrenal gland. Tetracosactide acetate is currently used for the research of ulcerative colitis and Crohn's disease, juvenile/adult rheumatoid arthritis and osteoarthrosis.

In Vivo：Tetracosactide acetate (0.5 mg/kg, iv, single dose) reduces malondialdehyde (MDA), xanthine oxidase (XO), myeloperoxidase (MPO), caspase-3 in tissue and serum, inproves the levels of catalase in rabbits spinal cord IR injury models, exhibits neuroprotective and antioxidant activities[2].
