In Vitro：4-Hydroxyacetophenone (P-hydroxyacetophenone) inhibits adhesion, invasion, and migration largely through NM2C activity in HCT116 cells[2].

In Vivo：4-Hydroxyacetophenone (P-hydroxyacetophenone) (1 mg/kg, s.i. daily redosing for 4 weeks) limits the development and spread of metastases in the colon cancer metastasis to the liver mice model[2].
