Crossvent -Model 3+ -Adult and Pediatric Ventilator
Bio-Med Devices’ new, industry-leading Crossvent 3+ Ventilator offers a wide range of ventilatorysupport for both pediatric and adult patients in a variety of settings from air and ground transportto emergency department to ICU to subacute care and more.
A choice of configurations
You can order the Crossvent 3+in any one of three configura-tions: standard, with Bio-MedDevices Air/Oxygen Blenderattached, or with air entrain-ment. The attached blenderallows the user to set oxygenconcentration from 21% to100%. Units with air entrain-ment can deliver either 100%oxygen or a nominal 50% oxy-gen without the need for anexternal air supply source. Theunique venturi mechanism built into the unit increases oxygentank life by mixing ambient airwith the source oxygen.
A range of modes and alarms
Using the color touchscreendisplay, operators can easilyselect the appropriate ventilation mode: AssistControl, SIMV, CPAP, PressureSupport or Sigh. Availablealarms include exhaled tidal volume, PIP, PEEP, mean pressure, low supply pressure,rate, oxygen concentration and low battery.
Dependable power
The Crossvent 3+ can be powered by a compressor,blended gas or 100% oxygen,and its consumption of gas isextremely low. The internalbattery provides power duringtransport and in the event of AC power failure. If the external power should fail, theunit will automatically switch toits battery power and sound analarm. A fully charged batterywill last approximately 6 hours.
