Insert the Tissue/DNA collection cup under the clip on the blue side of the applicator head and affix the tail to the brass pin on the back side as shown. Push the Green Punch Piece onto the pin of the applicator as shown.

- Push the Green Punch Piece through the animals ear and down into the Tissue/DNA collection cup.
- Be sure to completely squeeze the applicator so that the punch piece is completely imbedded in the collection cup
- Release the handle. Remove the collection cup with the col-lected sample from the applicator
- Write your animal ID# on the collector and send it to Gene Check in a padded envelope or box
Note:
There is a drying desiccant in the collec- tion cup that will dry and preserve the tissue. Store the collected sample at room temperature. You do not need to refriger- ate the sample or send it via rush shipping. The sample will dry and preserve and will remain viable for approximately 3 years at room temperature
