Endospan NEXUS - Aortic Arch Stent Graft System
The NEXUS Aortic Arch Stent Graft System was specifically engineered for minimally-invasive total arch repair to overcome the challenges of the aortic arch anatomy. NEXUS is delivered by traveling through your vascular system using fluoroscopic guidance (x-ray pictures), starting with a small incision or needle puncture near your groin (inner thigh). This delivery method is called an endovascular approach. NEXUS is designed to make a minimally-invasive repair possible for more patients while reducing the risks of surgery.
A straightforward, minimally invasive solution for aortic arch repair that allows for procedural consistency and reliability.
NEXUS is the first and only CE-mark approved off the shelf endovascular aortic arch branch system.
Specifically Engineered to Overcome the Challenges of Total Endovascular Arch Repair
- Indicated for a range of aortic pathologies
- chronic dissection
- aortic aneurysm
- penetrating aortic ulcer
- intramural hematoma
The NEXUS® Dock and Lock™ modular system provides stable anatomical anchoring and atraumatic sealing in a wide range of anatomies.
Aortic arch stent graft with integrated BRACHIOCEPHALIC TRUNK branch maximizes available length of seal and prevents possibility of branch separation
Dock and lock™ system prevents migration or separation and provides consistent module overlap and radial force
Anatomically curved delivery system features fixation tube with through wire for secure, reliable tracking and reduces device manipulation to position and orient the device in the arch
Once deployed, the locking latches anchor into docking sleeve providing long term stability
Providing the alternative of minimally invasive repair decreases the requirement for extracorporeal circulation and possibility of hypothermia, translating into reduced procedure and hospitalization time
PRe-curved ascending stent graft for effective graft-to-vessel alignment and atraumatic apposition and seal, while reducing pressure on outer curvature of ascending aorta
REWRITE THE STORY
FOR MORE PATIENTS
For some patients, open aortic arch repair can be risky. Anatomical complexity and lack of approved devices for the arch can prohibit endovascular repair. This makes the choice of treatment difficult or even impossible for some patients.
NEXUS can safely extend minimally invasive, durable intervention to more patients while mitigating the risks of stroke, endoleak and migration.
SPECIFICALLY ENGINEERED
FOR TOTAL ENDOVASCULAR ARCH REPAIR
NEXUS is the first and only CE-approved off-the-shelf branched endovascular aortic arch system.
Indicated for a wide range of aortic pathologies, including arch aneurysms, thoracic dissections, and PAU, NEXUS is designed to overcome the specific challenges of the aortic arch anatomy. Stable and secured anatomical anchoring and atraumatic sealing are achieved with the proprietary “Dock and Lock” modular system.
REMOVES COMPLEXITY
FROM A TECHNICALLY DEMANDING PROCEDURE
Finally surgeons have a straightforward, minimally invasive solution for aortic arch repair that allows for procedural consistency and reliability.
NEXUS enables a low and predictable procedure time, eliminates need for hypothermic circulatory arrest for lower hospitalization and related costs, and delivers outcomes comparable to open surgery.
