The STC line storage systems are ideally suited for a wide range of storage applications ranging in size from approximately 100 000 to millions of samples and for temperatures ranging from -80°C to RT. Applications include: small molecule compound storage, diagnostics, population based biobanks, disease based biobanks, research biobanks, reagent storage and core sample storage facilities.
LiCONiC`s exclusive compressible, high density shelf system is fully enclosed in a vacuum enhanced, insulated chest style compartment. This design exploits the natural property of sinking cold air, providing for an extremely energy efficient enclosure for all temperature ranges.
A multi-function input/ouput Interface and tube picking station are confined to a single system area to prevent moisture ingress and to provide easy service access. A fully redundant refrigeration system is the first of multiple sample safety levels.
