Test Strips

• Equipped with a chemical reagent system. They measure glucose concentration in blood when inserted into the meter.

Lancing Device

• Used with sterile lancets to prick the fingertip, palm (at the base of the thumb) or forearm for blood sample collection.
• The packaged lancing device has multiple depth settings. Allows users to adjust the depth of the puncture to minimize discomfort.
• It can also eject the used lancets.

Clear Cap

• Used with the lancing device and sterile lancet to draw a blood sample from the forearm or palm.

Sterile Lancets

• Used with the lancing device to draw a blood sample.
• Sterile lancets are inserted into the lancing device with each blood sample taken.
• Discard after use.

Control Solution

• Confirms that the blood glucose monitoring system is properly working. Use this solution in place of a blood sample to check the test strips and meter for a pre-calibrated reading.
• Control Solution 1 is all you need most of the time. Control Solution 2 is also available if you want to do a level 2 test.
• The two levels of control solution are available in the On Call® Vivid Glucose Control Solution package. This package is sold separately.

The On Call Vivid Blood Glucose Monitoring System offers accurate and reliable results with hematocrit correction for exceptional diabetes management. The smart and powerful data management is compatible with the On Call AppLink Bluetooth Adaptor and the On Call Anywhere Diabetes Manager.

As it uses GOD enzyme technology and requires no coding, this device is both convenient and simple to use. Within 3 seconds, this reliable device quickly allows for secondary blood sample redosing. A backlight and a strip port light provide testing illumination. Results appear in 5 seconds using only 0.8 μL of blood. A temperature range of 5-45 ºC means that it operates in most environments. A Hct testing range of 20-70% is provided by the auto-correction technology.

The test memory also shows day and times, allowing for better management of tests. Safe disposal is provided by the machine’s strip and Lancet ejectors. The device can average blood sugar levels over 7, 14, 30, 60, 90 day periods, making it easy to observe trends in glucose levels. Using a USB cable information from the machine is easy to load on most computers. It also includes meal markers to check glucose levels before and meals.
