OmniBone™ Marrow Biopsy Kit is used with the OmniBone™ rechargeable Power Driver and is intended for bone marrow biopsy procedures. The Power Driver is placed into a sterile pouch and assembled to a coupler. The Bone Marrow Biopsy needle is then connected to the Power Driver.
Self-capturing specimen design:
The bone marrow biopsy needle includes a stylet with a sharp triangular threaded tip and an 11 Gauge biopsy cannula.
The biopsy cannula features internal ribs to retain the specimen. Under speed, the ribs allow to self-capture large bone marrow specimen.
Precision:
The biopsy cannula has a centimetric breaker and an easy-to-use depth marker allowing the physician to perform a precise and safe procedure.
Bone marrow aspiration:
Aspiration may also be performed when connecting a syringe to the connector end of the biopsy cannula.
