Quality and environmental factors have remained top priorities in our production process and finished products - along with providing a good vendor and customer service. That is one reason why we have consequently implemented a quality assurance system and are an ISO 14001 certified company.

About Us
Plum A/S is a family owned business with roots dating back to 1860. For more than 40 years we have dealt with efficient and user-friendly hand hygiene solutions and for ca. 15 years with first-aid solutions that make your workplace a safer place to be. Today we serve a wide range of users in the industry, handicraft and institutional areas.
Through a close co-orperation with dermatologists, safety organisations and occopational health service centres we have through the years developed products which emphasise the skins demand for mild raw materials as well as the consideration towards efficiency.
Quality and environment have always had a high priority in our production as well as in the manufactured goods. We make a point of ensuring that all our products and packaging are safe for the environment and hold the ISO 14001 certificate.
Our quality system is build on ISO 22716 and ISO 9001 and is your guarantee that you always get the same high-quality products - and that every product has been correctly researched and produced.
We are currently about 90 employees spread on our head office in Assens, Denmark, our subsidiaries in Germany and Hungary and offices in Norway, Sweden and Russia.

Against the backdrop of +30 years of production and sale of our products from the former merchant’s house in the centre of Assens, Denmark, in 2004 we moved to our current address at Frederik Plums Vej 2, which is a sizeable 7300 m2, new and modern production and administration facility.
Our head office in Denmark (Assens) has a staff of some 95 people, including subsidiary offices in Germany and Hungary, and local offices in Norway, Sweden and Russia.

Quality management is at the core of our business today. Our quality and environment handbook outlines, defines, organises and appropriately documents all business processes and activities of Plum A/S with direct or indirect impact on our key success criteria – quality products and satisfied customers.
Scope of the quality and environment handbook:
- Describe the quality management system of Plum A/S (quality and environment system)
- Define responsibilities and competencies relative to activities impacting quality and environment
- Ensuring goals and policies are defined along with planning and implementation of required management follow-up activities
- Ensuring continuously improving quality and environmental impact through analysis, lessons learned and corrective and preventive actions

Plum is certified that its quality management system complies with the ISO 9001 requirements on Quality Management Systems, ISO 14001 on Environmental Management Systems and Council Directive 93/42/EEC on Medical Devices and according to ISO 13485.
Nordic eco-labelling
The eco-label is a Nordic labelling of products complying with a number of specific requirements in terms of raw materials, manufacturing process, features, use, packaging method and disposal of product and packaging.
