Optimal Test Timing

The body typically requires a few weeks to develop the antibodies to the (S) Protein of SARS-CoV-2, which this test detects. If you have been vaccinated or had a COVID-19 infection recently, we recommend waiting approximately 4 weeks from the date of your most recent vaccination dose or initial COVID-19 diagnosis to give your body time to produce the antibodies this test detects.

• You will receive a positive test result if the level of antibodies measured in your sample is ≥0.8 U/mL
• You will receive a negative test result if the level of antibodies measured in your sample is <0.8 U/mL
• Results from this test should NOT be used to diagnose a current COVID-19 infection or to inform about the status of an infection
• Test results are highly accurate (sensitivity 98.8% and specificity 99.98%); however, conclusions about protective immunity to future infection cannot be made exclusively on the basis of the results provided
• If an acute COVID-19 infection or recent exposure is suspected, direct testing with a molecular or antigen based SARS-CoV-2 test (not this test) is necessary
