Rainout occurs when warm gas comes into contact with a cooler surface and the humidity it carries condenses into larger droplets. Some delivery circuits are vulnerable to rainout causing both inefficiency and a risk of water aspiration. [1] Our patented warm water jacket delivery tube insulates the gas during delivery to eliminate the possibility of condensation, so your patients receive optimally conditioned gas.
