Don’t be fooled by its name; it may be “basic”, but it has a lot to offer you. The MiniSim-12 provides full 12-lead ECG simulation with 14 user-selectable rates ranging from 30 to 350 BPM, and 14 user selectable amplitudes from 0.15 to 5 mV. The performance waveform includes Sine, Square and Triangle. There are 14 user-selectable waveform rates from 0.1 to 100 Hz and amplitudes from 0.15 millivolt to 5 millivolts.
The instrument is also designed to simulate 45 different arrhythmias including atrial, ventricular, tall T wave, ST elevation, ST depression, myocardial infarction, blocks, pulse and pacer waveforms.
As it is, the MiniSim Basic packs a high degree of functionality and versatility that will cover your ECG testing requirements. If you find your needs increasing, you can conveniently upgrade the device’s software to receive the MiniSim 1000’s full function patient simulator features; that includes blood pressure, respiration, and temperature simulation (YSI 400/YSI 700 compatible).
