What is the Formfit Pro Elbow?
The Formfit® Pro Elbow from Össur is a lightweight, elbow compression sleeve for people with elbow pain. It is designed to be used following a trip or fall resulting in inflammation and bruising or following diagnosis of medial (golfers elbow) or lateral (tennis elbow) epicondylitis conditions.

Manufactured from 3D knit material, the sleeve is both highly compressive as well as breathable to minimise sweat build up when active, plus ensuring longevity with the sleeve maintaining its shape over time.

When Should It Be Used?
An elbow compression sleeve should be used to manage conditions of the elbow where inflammation is widespread, rather than in a specific region where a tennis elbow support could be used. The nature of the device ensures that the compression is applied equally from the top of the forearm to the mid-point of the bicep.

Following injury to the elbow joint a brace can offer a host of benefits, including:

• Pain management: swelling is the source of the pain which also compromises movements. The application of compression can help on both fronts.
• Mobility improvement: following injury you should rest, but this isn’t always possible, and the elbow joint is crucial for most activities. Therefore, the use of a sleeve can help you remain mobile for longer.

• Maintains its shape (even with repeated use) i.e. it won’t stretch and become too big.

It is also thinner than other materials without compromising on the level of compression, ensuring it remains more comfortable when being worn for long periods of time.

The additional strap allows a bespoke level of compression to be applied beneath the elbow joint if desired.

How Do I Know if This is The Right One for Me?
Selecting the correct size is always important with any bracing product, to ensure that the sleeve stays in place when mobile and doesn’t slip. Prior to selecting a size, please ensure that you have measured the circumference of the elbow.
