Epi-Care is a unique medical epilepsy wrist-worn sensor that detects tonic clonic seizures. It has a discreet and modern design, which is unobtrusive for the user.

The lightweight sensor can be worn 24 hours a day and only needs an hour to charge. The advanced 3-axis accelerometer can detect convulsions and vibrations that occur during seizures. The intelligent gyroscope within the wristband can differentiate between a seizure and the movement of everyday activities.

Choose the Pager option if you want to monitor at home or in a care home. The Epi-Care device seamlessly connects to a radio pager that can be up to 100 meters away from the epilepsy alert bracelet. So it’s ideal for parents who may sleep in another part of the house or within a care home environment.

If a seizure occurs, the Epi-Care will alert the pager so that parents or carers can provide immediate intervention. Within a care home environment, you can connect multiple sensors to one pager. The pagers on-screen notification will inform you which wrist sensor is activated so you can locate the user quickly.

Ideal for people who live alone!

With this option, the Epi-Care wrist sensor is shipped with an additional device called a careline alarm. The alarm is connected to a 24/7 monitoring service facilitated by our sister company, Telecare24. This allows you to wear the Epi-Care around the home knowing our team will be on hand if you require assistance any time of day or night.

If you experience a seizure, the sensor will activate the careline alarm unit and immediately contact our care team. Our highly trained staff will recognise that a seizure monitor has been activated. Once this has been confirmed they will follow a pre-agreed protocol to get you the help you need.
