BioSphere -Model Flex SP -Extremities Bone Graft
BioSphere Flex Sp Extremities is a bone graft that was specifically developed to maximize the bone healing potential of bioactive glass. Using Synergy’s proprietary BioSphere® Technology, BioSphere® Flex SP Extremities is composed of innovative bioactive glass granules combined with a porous collagen/sodium hyaluronate carrier.
Porous Structure and Handling
The porous BioSphere® Flex granules and carrier are designed to absorb bone marrow aspirate. Once fully hydrated, BioSphere® Flex SP Extremities becomes flexible and moldable to aid in surgical placement. The porous carrier is designed to accommodate bone marrow aspirate. Small and medium sizes for Upper and Lower Extremities.
Innovative Granule Design
BioSphere® Flex SP Granules are composed of spherical particles of bioactive glass that are bonded together. The sphere packing creates a 100% interconnected porosity within the granules that supports bone formation.
Collagen/Sodium Hyaluronate Carrier
The bioactive glass granules in BioSphere® Flex SP are suspended in a porous collagen/sodium hyaluronate carrier. This allows bone marrow aspirate absorption throughout the entire implant.
