UrgoTul -Flexible Lipido-Colloid Contact Layer Dressing
URGOTUL incorporates Technology Upido Colloid (TLCJ exclusively developed by Urgo. URGOTUL is a non-occlusive flexible and conformable dressing comprising of a polyester mesh impregnated with hydrocoJIoid particles dispersed in a petroleum jelly matrix. This mass contains carboxymethyl cellulose (hydrocolloid). paraffin oil, petroleum jelly and carrier polymers.
In contact with wound exudate, the hydrocolloid parades in the URGOTUL mass interact with the petroleum jelly component to form a lipido-colloid interface. The interface creates a moist environment which is ideal for wound healing. Due to the chemical composition. URGOTUL is none greasy to the touch and has non-slip properties. URGOTUL will not adhere to either the wound or the surrounding skin. Removal of thedressing is painless and atraumatic for the patient.
