The scientific basis from which the Finesse HIFU device is derived is the HIFU technology (high intensity focused ultrasound) used for years in the treatment of tumours, which uses the thermal energy created at the focal distance of an ultrasonic wave transducer. Through this innovative therapeutic approach, it is possible to stimulate the natural cellular mechanism of tissue repair and regeneration. The physician has the possibility to customize the treatment through the choice of the most suitable transducer for the depth to be reached, going to calibrate appropriately, power and mode of ultrasound emission, according to the characteristics of the patient, the area to be treated and the desired result.
The medical procedure with high intensity focused ultrasound has proven to be effective and safe for the treatment of hyperhidrosis and osmidrosis.

The operational stability of the transducer is safeguarded during the entire treatment. Active cooling helps to increase the emission power of the piezoelectric component; indeed, it is known that an excessive increase in temperature reduces the quality factor of the piezoelectric component during the operating process.
