Surgi - Intraoperative Covers
Surgi intraoperative covers are specially designed polyethylene transducer covers accordion-folded for easy application to transducers in a sterile environment. Providing distortion-free scanning, the Surgi extends up the length of the transducer cord, allowing up to 2.4 meters (eight feet) of sterile protection during ultrasound procedures in the operating room or surgical suite. Covers are packaged with a CIV-Flex™ cover for use as a soft, acoustically transparent surgical boot over the intraoperative cover. Select covers include sterile gel packets and bands. The Surgi also is available flat-folded. Not made with natural rubber latex.

Based on the results of the study, CIVCO ultrasound probe covers provide effective barrier to the penetration of microbial migration.1
