Lactobacillus rhamnosus 573 bacteria included in Lactovaginal® produce lactic acid which maintains the proper pH of the vagina, protecting against the development of pathogenic bacteria. L. rhamnosus 573 bacilli demonstrate antagonism against the majority of bacteria that cause urogenital infections.
Clinical trials have shown that Lactovaginal® use after the treatment of vaginal inflammations results in: a reduction in the number of pathogens, restoring the natural microbiological balance of the vagina and normalizing vaginal secretions.
Composition : 1 capsule contains Lactobacillus rhamnosus 573 bacilli, approximately 1010, including not less than 108 CFU (colony forming units).
Instructions of use
Lactovaginal® is recommended for the restoration or supplementation of the normal bacterial flora of the vagina: in inflammatory conditions of the reproductive organs after treatment with antibacterial, antitrichomonal or antifungal drugs, in the presence of vaginal discharge as well as prophylactically.
Contraindications: Hypersensitivity to the active substance or to any of the excipients.
Dosage : From 1 to 2 capsules a day (one in the morning and one at night) for 1 week. The treatment can be repeated when necessary.
Package : 1 blister, 10 vaginal capsules each.
Expiration date : 2 years.
Storage : Store in a refrigerator at 2°C – 8°C. During the shelf-life period, the medicine can be stored outside the refrigerator at 25°C for 4 weeks.
