AKRUS - Model ak 5003 m - Mammography Chair
The ak 5003 m mammography chair is a mobile, very functional patient chair for mammography screenings and biopsies. The electric lift drives the chair to a convenient level for the procedure. (as an option, the chair comes with a fixed height on a solid steel column)
The fold away arm rests allow easy access to the patient from all directions before and during the procedure.
For mammography screenings, the back rest can be tilted 5° forward of vertical which moves the patient closer to the mammo equipment.
With the infinitely variable back rest and leg support the chair can go from screening configuration to biopsy in just seconds.
If required, the rotating chair top can be locked at any position.
The chair features 4 heavy duty castors with individual brakes.

Electric height adjustment
The chair moves electrically from 540 mm to 740 mm. The easily accessible switches are foot operated.
Rotating chair top
The chair top rotates and can be manually locked.
Fold away foot plate
The fold away foot plate offers comfortable seating even to shorter patents. The foot plate is mechanically linked to the leg support and folds out to horizontal synchronized with the leg support.
