Promed - Model P50 - Medical Waste Sterilization System
The Promed P50 is designed for clinics and small hospitals to efficiently manage and sterilize medical waste. It has a capacity to process 20 Kg per hour, employing a comprehensive sterilization protocol. The system utilizes microwave technology with six integrated magnetron units for shredding medical waste, reducing the pathogenic contamination by up to eight logarithmic values. The heating phase injects saturated steam to maintain a temperature between 134°C and 138°C for 10 to 15 minutes, ensuring thorough sterilization. The process is controlled via a PLC that manages an anti-blocking mechanism to prevent jamming during shredding. Additional features include an automatic elevator system for enhanced loading efficiency and an odor control system. After sterilization, excess steam is removed and the waste is cooled with cold air before being safely discharged.
