Immunogen: This antibody was raised by immunising mice with purified amphibian allergen.
Specificity: This antibody recognises one of the major amphibian allergens.
Application Notes: Specificity of this antibody was confirmed by ELISA tests. Its enginnered IgE and human IgG4 versions might be used as controls in in vitro and in vivo allergy models. Finally, engineered IgG4 version of this antibody can be utilised in the research on the therapy of allergies using IgGs to block free allergen in the system of an allergic organism and prevent the allergen binding to IgEs (Orengo et al., 2018).
