Problem: Traditional masks pose several problems including: sticking to the patient’s hairline and facial hair, making it painful when removed, uneven heating that results in an inconsistent finished product, and continued shrinking throughout the course of treatment making the mask ill-fitting and uncomfortable.
Solution: The non-stick coating is integrated into the mask, so it maintains its non-stick properties and shape regardless if heated in a Waterbath or Dry Oven.
