Protein-Foundry - Model CXCL4 -PFP014 - Recombinant Human Protein Cell
Human CXCL4, additionally known as Platelet-factor 4, is a 70 amino acid protein that is released by activated platelets to promote coagulation. CXCL4 binds to the G protein-coupled receptor CXCR3-B, found in kidney, heart and liver tissue, but a canonical signaling receptor is still unknown. CXCL4 readily binds to heparin-like molecules and glycoproteins and is a regulator of endothelial and homeopathic stem cell proliferation.
