Stationary lithotripter with dynamic X-ray flat-panel detector for extracorporeal shock wave lithotripsy (SWL). The new MODULITH® SLX-F2 »FD21« combines modern, innovative and efficient X-ray imaging with the proven STORZ MEDICAL electromagnetic shock wave source. The 21 cm x 21 cm X-ray flat-panel detector enables excellent imaging and rapid positioning of the stone in the effective therapy focus, along with reliable in-situ monitoring during the treatment.

In-line localization
Thanks to the cylindrical design of the STORZ MEDICAL therapy coil, the stone can always be imaged in situ on the central therapy head axis – even during shock wave treatment – regardless of whether a standard AP fluoroscopic projection or ultrasound localization is performed.
Dual focus
The MODULITH® SLX-F2 »FD21« offers a dual focus, allowing selection of shock wave parameters best suited to the patient’s specific indication and a personalized treatment strategy.
StorM-Touch
All integrated system components are controlled from a touch screen, either from a remote control panel behind lead-glass windows or directly in the treatment room. The optional automated LithoPos stone positioning system is also integrated into the StorM-Touch platform.
StorM-Base
The StorM-Base patient database integrates seamlessly with the StorM-Touch platform and offers an ideal interface for retrieving and importing all patient and treatment data.
Using the leading DICOM and HL7 interface standards, the MODULITH® SLX-F2 »FD21« integrates seamlessly with the existing internal hospital network.
