Wound dressing made of modified cellulose StopBac STERILE Cel is intended for healing chronic and traumatic wounds. It supports the next stages of wound healing (granulation, epithelialization), thanks to carboxymethylated cellulose fibers and the ability to create an ideal moist environment for wound healing. However, StopBac STERILE Cel also contains an antibacterial effect and can therefore also be used for contaminated wounds. Czech medical device.
INDICATIONS - prevention and elimination of infection and healing of these wounds (especially infected wound):
- acute and traumatic wounds
- infected acute wounds
- chronic wounds (colonized and infected) - diabetic ulcerations, shin ulcers, pressure ulcers (after removal of dead tissue)
- prevention of infection during surgery and tracheotomy
- 2nd degree burns
Wound Coverage StopBac STERILE Cell deep healing is an effective means of healing hard-to-heal wounds. Its advantage compared to other categories of wound dressings is its universality. The coating is an antibacterial coating of the acid form of carboxymethylated cellulose in the form of a nonwoven fabric. The cell is intended as a primary cover especially for chronic and infected wounds. It can be used for mildly exuding wounds as well as for strongly exuding wounds in combination with a secondary absorbent dressing.
The advantages of the StopBac STERILE Cel coating are prolonged antibacterial activity , hemostatic properties and non-toxicity. The coating regulates the activities of proteolytic enzymes and thus supports tissue regeneration (minimizes protein loss). StopBac Cel reduces wound pain and wound odor. It supports epitalization, protects the surrounding skin and has a preventive effect against dermatitis around the wound caused by moisture. It is especially suitable for stagnant wounds to promote healing.
CONTRAINDICATIONS The
dressing can only be used to treat wounds with minor capillary or minor venous bleeding, not to stop arterial or major venous bleeding of a larger extent.

The product is delivered radiation-sterilized, is for single use only and cannot be re-sterilized. The sterility of the product is ensured only when the packaging is intact. Once the original package is opened and the product is removed from the package, the sterility of the product is compromised. The manufacturer does not guarantee that the product will not be contaminated after removing the product from its original packaging and during handling. If the packaging is damaged, do not use the product. Do not combine with oily products. Do not use after the expiry date which is stated on the carton. For external use only.
