A History of Implant Logistics

Implant Logistics was founded by general dentist and implantologist Dr. Leo Malin, in response to a need he saw for affordable US-based implant systems that are robust, simple to use, preserve bone and provide healthy, predictable results. The first iteration of the Implant One System (series 100 and 200 platform connections) became available to the US market in 2011. Further improvements were developed to this system, resulting in the release of the improved Implant-One System, the Series 300, 400 and 500 platform connections. We focus on continually improving, innovating, and advancing our products for the benefit of doctors and patients alike.

Dr. Malin started delivering implant services in 1993. In his quest for the best implants and components, he found that some of the implants manufactured in Europe were superior to the U.S. manufactured products and were simply not available to the US market.

When the Morse tapered implants were introduced into the U.S. they were significantly better then what had previously been available in the country. However, Dr. Malin felt these systems could be improved and believed that the cost of these systems was prohibitive. He set about developing an improved implant system at a more affordable price.

After extensive research and innovation, and with the help of his partner Tom, who brought the machining and manufacturing expertise required, he set up manufacturing facilities in the U.S. and created the Implant-One system of implants and components. Implant Logistics continues to innovate and develop implants that are simple to use, give stable results and meet the needs of implant dentists.
