Triojection - Single-Needle Injection Procedure
At left is a patient on the table, with a physician inserting a spinal needle using fluorscopy (C-Arm) to guide the needle into the disc. There is no open surgery and no general anaesthetic. Image at right shows the spine, made up of many vertebrae, and the vertebrae shown separately further right. The blue part between the two lower verterbrae is the disc into which Triojection is being inserted. At top right (top view) are thin needles: one is for Triojection, going into the centre of the disc, and the other shows a typical steroid injection or epidural injection (not part of Triojection). These are both simple, safe injections.
