A gantry without a large rotating mechanis
Magnet Design
Significant miniaturization has been achieved by patented magnet design without requiring a large rotating mechanism, a non-rotating gantry. That realizes the isocentric irradiation technique with a kicker magnet and a superconducting magnet as a bending magnet, the magnetic field of which was optimized. Patent No. 6364141,6387476
Scanning irradiation supporting a moving organ
Scanning Irradiation
Many organs that are expected to be effective for proton therapy move with breathing (e.g. lungs, liver, pancreas). The combination of respiratory-gated irradiation method and high-speed scanning method also supports irradiation of moving organs.
Gantry and treatment table for high degree of freedom of treatment
