They are made from 304 stainless steel, with an option for 316L, and are mirror polished for both the inner and outer V-shells. The inclusion of heavy-duty industrial ABB Motors & Drives ensures reliable rotation of the V-shell and intensifier bar. The V Blenders also feature OMRON safety sensor gates and variable speed control, enhancing their adaptability to different mixing needs. The blender's design consists of two inclined cylinders forming a V, which aids in efficient mixing as materials are displaced and interchanged through mechanical transmission. Additionally, an intensifier bar can be included to further aid mixing and break up difficult materials.

V-Shell Blenders are commonly used in pharmaceutical, nutraceutical, chemical, food and related industries to mix dried powder and granules. It consists of two inclined cylinders attached together in the form of a "V". Through mechanical transmission, the powder materials in the shell are displaced back and forth, constantly being split and intermixed as the shell rotates to achieve ultimate uniformed mixing. Normal cycle times are typically in the range of 15 minutes; however, it can be less depending on the difficulty of blending. The V blender can be equipped with an intensifier bar, which helps in mixing and breaking up materials.
