Peak values in sharpness: 80 μm and 2.5 LP/mm
The quality of the imaging is the basis for everything - for a reliable diagnosis even in difficult cases, for the trust of your patient and for a successful treatment. This is where the Veraview X800 delivers superior performance in both small and large volumes. One example: For field of view (FOV) exposures Ø 40 x H 40 mm, the voxel size is an impressive 80 μm with a brilliant resolution of 2.5 LP/mm.
Image quality like this gives you entirely new diagnostic capabilities. You can recognize even the smallest structures of bones and tissues. Thus you can be sure to make the right decision for the best possible treatment right from the start.
Innovative highlight: Horizontal X-ray beam and variable sensor positioning
A major highlight of the Veraview X800: In CBCT images, the X-ray beam is horizontal and the Flat Panel Detector (FPD) position is in-line with the X-ray focal point. For panoramic images, the position of the FPD can be shifted so that the angle of the X-ray beam can be adjusted from horizontal to the optimum of 5º.
This innovative and MORITA-exclusive solution ensures that 3D and 2D images are created under optimum exposure conditions. The result: superior image quality in 3D imaging by minimizing artifacts and distortion, as well as brilliant image quality in 2D imaging by reduction of the shadow of cortical bones and by suppression of the hard palate.
Or to put it another way: The Veraview X800 offers you „two complete imaging systems in one“, with a 100% performance for both types of imaging. This is unique in the field of combination systems.
Choose between 360º and 180º scanning
The Veraview X800 gives you the choice between 360º and 180º scanning for CBCT images, according to indication and purpose.
Lowest possible dose and highest possible resolution
The Veraview X800 allows you a 360º scanning with maximum reduction of artifacts and noise. A 180º scanning is also possible, with a lower dose and shorter exposure time. This gives you the freedom to choose the best possible balance between resolution and dose, depending on the indication and objective.
Exclusive: Panoramic Scout for images of limited areas
With its exclusive Panoramic Scout function, the Veraview X800 also allows you to easily and reliably define and set the right target area for small field CBCTs. As a basis for this you use an existing panorama image. On the computer, just select the region in question and mark it with a small square. At the touch of a button, the device automatically moves to the correct position and is ready to acquire the CBCT image.
The benefit for you: You create the image stress-free and right away in the region you are interested in. The benefit for your patient: A lower dose due to the limited area and also less stress when taking the image.
Dose Reduction Mode
The Dose Reduction Mode is another valuable feature of the Veraview X800 for the protection of patients. In areas with lower bone density, the X-ray dose is automatically reduced. The result is a reduction in radiation exposure of up to 40%.
11 Fields of View (FOV) to choose from
The Veraview X800 offers 11 fields of view covering an exceptionally wide range of clinical indications.
Precise diagnostics and targeted treatment planning
The 11 FOV from ø 40 to ø 150 cover a wide range of clinical questions, e.g. in the fields of orthodontics, implantology, periodontology and endodontics. In addition, the best possible image of the relevant region is always obtained while minimizing the dose at the same time.
Exclusive: Zoom Reconstruction Function
The Veraview X800 is the first 2D / 3D combination system to offer a zoom reconstruction function. From an image with a 125 μm voxel size, you can reconstruct a high-resolution image segment at 80 μm – without having to take another image. The only exception: This function is not available for the Ø 150 field of view (FOV).
The benefits: Greater sharpness in post-processing. No need for multiple exposures. Less dose for the patient.
Brilliant panoramic images due to groundbreaking automatic image optimization functions, based on real data
A distinctive feature of the Veraview X800 are its groundbreaking automatic image optimization functions, using real data. They guarantee brilliant panoramic images with the highest contrast and consistently high resolution - for a clear diagnosis and successful treatment planning.
Adaptive Focal Point (AFP): Perfect focus for maximum sharpness
The AFP function divides each image layer into a grid of tiles and analyzes each tile across multiple image layers to determine the one with the optimum sharpness. Finally the selected regions (from each layer) are combined into the final image. This way everything in the image from the apex to the occlusion is in optimal focus. The result is the sharpest image possible from the data acquired.
Adaptive Gray Scale (AGS): For perfectly balanced contrast
The AGS function takes into account that the dental arch, lower jaw, jaw joint etc. have a different density and automatically adjusts the contrast according to these regions. This creates an optimal, perfectly balanced contrast in all areas of the image. A manual optimization of the contrast is no longer necessary.
Digital Direct Auto Exposure (DDAE): Real-time dose adjustment
The DDAE function automatically adjusts the radiation dose during exposure to areas of lower or higher density. The results are a significantly improved contrast and dynamic range as well as high image quality at a reduced dose.
Innovative dose reduction features for panoramic images
MORITA is a pioneer in reducing the radiation dose of X-ray systems. The Veraview X800 therefore offers a variety of innovative and effective functions even for panoramic images.
Partial Panoramic (Collimated Scan)
If a complete panoramic image is not required, an image of a specified region can be taken. The advantage: The selected region is clearly visible, while the collimated areas receive a significantly lower radiation dose.
New: Child Setting
The child setting reduces both the exposure time and the field of scanning.
New presets for different patient sizes (including children)
Based on head size the device can be adjusted for large, medium or small patients as well as for children to achieve the best balance between image quality and dose.
High Quality Cephalometric acquisition with up to 100 kV
For cephalometric images, the Veraview X800 combines excellent image quality with high acquisition speed and significantly reduced dose.
The 100 kV tube voltage produces high-class images. At the same time, the high resolution of 96 μm makes it easy to find trace points.
The time for cephalometric exposures is reduced to only 3.5 seconds, which significantly also reduces the radiation dose. For children the reduced time is particularly helpful because less motion artifacts are generated.
Partial cephalometric images are another important feature for dose reduction: If only exposures of subareas are required you can select three areas that can be excluded during exposure.
And finally, the Veraview X800 offers you four different programs for cephalometric exposures:
- Posterior-anterior
- Lateral
- Hand image
- 45º angle
3D-Dental Arch Function (3D Reuleaux FOV)
Within the 100 mm diameter exposure range MORITA’s unique 3D system replaces the typical cylindrical shape with a convex triangle shape - the Reuleaux. The generated unique FOV encompasses the entire dental arch (with upper jaw and lower jaw) and simultaneously excludes all other areas of image acquisition, that are out of interest.
The benefit of this MORITA-exclusive function: Imaging of the entire dental arch can be achieved with less X-ray dose.
Award-winning design and face-to-face positioning of the patient
The Veraview X800 has received one of the highest awards for its design - the IF Gold Award. The design quality is not only expressed in the appearance of the Veraview X800, but also in its functionality.
