'Reprocessing of Instruments to Retain Value', nicknamed the 'red book', is the publication that AKI is best known for. It has helped to improve reprocessing throughout the world. The brochure contains recommendations for the proper handling and care of medical devices (e.g. of surgical instruments, endoscopes and equipment etc.) in hospitals and practices.
