FROM GENERATION TO GENERATION

These are the most important dates regarding our history.
A succession of events that mark a steady though balanced business growth.
We are now in the third Zaffaroni generation:

we consider this as a new starting point rather than an achievement.

1960
THE DATE OF BIRTH

This is the date of birth of our company, whose head office is in Turate. in the province of Como. At first the production of small size presses and the marketing of machine tools coexist. We already show an increasing attention to foreign markets.

1970-80
THE SECOND ZAFFARONI GENERATION

In these years our headquarters move to new offices always Turate and the second Zaffaroni generation arrives in the company. It is created the ideal mix of technical capability and commercial approach that will gradually bring Zani to become a leading company.

1980-90
THESE ARE YEARS OF GREAT COMMITMENT
Our business is flourishing and the staff is increasing, enriching the company with competences and engineering know-how. We start the project Eureka for the company Tefal, in collaboration with the University of Milan: at that time a technologically advanced system that used presses with slow motion of our invention.

1990-2000
FIRST IN ITALY
We are among the first Italian producers to bring electronic systems in our machines. Driven by changes in the industrial sector, we develop a machine with kinematic for slowdown. Our creativity together with the technology is appreciated: the machine becomes an international success. This brings us to focus only on presses, leaving therefore the marketing of machine tools.

2000-2010
AUTOMOTIVE
We manage to realize larger and larger presses for the automotive industry, we study how to integrate automation into processes. In order to meet the market demand, we develop the innovative servo technology. We increase the export quota of our machines up to 90% of our production.

2011
THE NEW GENERATION
The new generation of the Zaffaroni family joins the company, renewing enthusiasm and vision of the future.

2014
MASTER OF MECHANICS
Orlando Zaffaroni. our President and Technical Manager, is given the prestigious credit for `Master of Mechanics* by the UCIMU Foundation.
