With each da Vinci OS4 software release we improve system performance or add capability. Software capability on da Vinci Xi and SP systems includes automated deployment of the Patient Cart to prepare for draping. On the da Vinci Xi, guided setup and targeting features can simplify preparing, positioning, and docking the Patient Cart. You can choose preset positions based on specialty-specific anatomy and approaches.

Before surgery, log into your user account and apply user-adjustable settings such as ergonomic preferences. Then during your case, software allows you to conveniently adjust energy settings from the Surgeon Console touchpad, or the OR staff can change settings on the VIO dV generator.
