Microsecond Pulsing Laser Trabeculoplasty (MLT)
The Navilas® 577s software enables the user to intuitively switch from retina mode to anterior segment mode which also supports laser trabeculoplasty treatments, e.g. with a standard Gonio lens.

Laser Peripheral Iridotomy (LPI)
The Navilas® 577s anterior segment mode also supports Laser Peripheral Iridotomy (LPI) combination therapy with a standard iridotomy ('Abraham') lens with 0.63x laser spot magnification.
LPI combination therapy allows the physician to prepare the iris with the Navilas® 577 nm yellow laser. After the initial treatment with Navilas®, the physician can complete the iridotomy treatment with less complication (bleeding) using a separate YAG laser. This combination therapy is a common procedure.

Treatment with Navilas® in two stages
- First stage: Stretch the iris with 4 single spots using 200mW, 200ms and 200µm
- Second stage: Remove iris stroma using 1000mW, 20ms and 50µm
Outcome
