SCA: Sudden cardiac arrest: A life- threatening condition that can be reversible just thanks to a timely defibrillation. If the heart is restarted within 4-5 minutes from SCA the survival rates increases up to 70%. YOUR FIRST AID WITH OUR AEDs COULD BE SOMEBODY’S LAST CHANCE! The time to intervene is very short, survival rates decrease by 7-10% per minute if you do not intervene with Cardio Pulmonary Resuscitation (CPR) and the use of the defibrillator.
BLS-D & PBLS-D Courses
BLS-D (Basic Life Support & Defibrillation) and (Pediatric Basic Life Support & Defibrillation) are FIRST AID techniques that include Cardio Pulmonary Resuscitation (CPR) and the use of the Defibrillator in adults, children (1-7 years) and infants (0-1 years).
This course teaches anyone to properly deal with the SCA and manage the simple maneuvers that can really make the difference between life and death.
The person qualified to intervene can safely perform the protocols of Cardio Pulmonary Resuscitation (CPR) and the use of the Automatic External Defibrillator.
