The Medical Aspects of Acute Radiation Course (MAARC) by CORE CBRN INTERNATIONAL is a comprehensive 72-hour program designed to equip operational level professionals with essential skills for managing acute radiation injuries. The course emphasizes the practical preparation and response techniques necessary for both prehospital and in-hospital settings. Participants gain in-depth knowledge about emergency and extended care for individuals exposed to radiation due to accidents or criminal acts involving radiation dispersal devices. The program integrates theoretical knowledge with interactive mockup cases, including the use of personal protective equipment. Instructors, who have extensive experience in radiation incident management, guide the participants through the process, ensuring they understand best practices suitable for their specific organizational needs. This course is open to personnel from civilian and military hospitals, safety and security officers, and other specialists, with no prerequisites required. It is conducted in English at the client's location or at the HiddingenTestCenter in Germany.
