Double-Branch Nonmodular Aortic Stent Graft Deployment Model - Video
Deployment of double-branch nonmodular stent grafts in a thoracic aortic model. The branches could represent the left carotid and subclavian arteries, for example. The graft assembly is a single piece with no graft fenestrations or external sheaths over the branch grafts, instead using internal branch sheaths, retractable through the aortic graft lumen. This graft delivery design can also be used for complex abdominal aortic aneurysms, e.g., to stent both renal arteries, and offers advantages over current modular endovascular stent graft systems: - no graft migration - no junctional endoleak - easier deployment - single vascular access site (e.g., femoral artery)
