Operation:
• The operation is very easy. After selecting the program you can scan the vial ID.
• During the warming stage, the walls of the block physically attach to the surface of the vial to achieve the highest heating speed possible. Though, the temperature of the block is regulated accurately not to exceed the setpoint and prevent overheating of the cells near the walls. The temperature of the vial is measured in real time so that the warming stage stops after reaching the final temperature automatically.
• Your cells are then preserved by keeping them in the cold until you need them.
Software and data integrity:
• Dr. Novakova/Sotio: Since we use DYNATHAW-V we are less occupied by the thawing process on a daily routine basis. Apart from the carefree operation I really like the flexibility that I can program any profile specific for our cells.
• Dr. Novakova/Sotio: But as the main advantage, I see the traceability of the thawing process. I can check the individual runs anytime and archive them. This means superior conformity with our GMP standards.
