The patented microchip technology enables high-speed, fluorescence-based cell sorting with the world's fastest mechanical sort valve (30,000 valve actuations per second) in a fully closed environment, providing full safety to the operator. In addition, the TytoCard is a single-use disposable that diminishes any risk of sample cross-contamination. Both positive and negative sorted fractions remain in the TytoCard after the actual sort, allowing full retrieval of all cells within the sample.
