Socorex ultra 1810: Priming & Injecting Fish - Video

This video shows how to prepare syringe, prime liquid and how to inject fish with Socorex® ultra 1810 syringe. The model is autoclavable fully assembled.

How to prime the automatic syringe:
Set the Socorex® ultra 1810 on maximum volume. Prime feed tubing by activating plunger, until liquid completely fills the syringe. Hold syringe upright to remove air bubbles by activating plunger five times. Lost liquid during priming can be collected in a clean recipient and returned to container. After changing bottle, verify proper priming (no air bubble) to guarantee optimal performances.

How to set volume on syringe:
Activate syringe a few times before setting volume to allow free plunger movement (stick slip). Loosen locking nut and turn socket to center O-ring on desired graduation. Tighten locking nut to prevent any volume alteration. Activate a few times the plunger to verify good operation.

How to inject:
Attach injection needle to syringe nozzle (mind adequate needle size). During injection, do not apply force on plunger rod and check output liquid from needle. Too much pressure inside barrel can cause barrel breakage or leakage.
