In this talk, Rolof Mulder, shares the genesis of Hospitainer. The idea originated when Rolof´s former company was installing a medical ICT solution alongside a hospital in western Africa. The hospital was a capital intensive, high-tech medical infrastructure located in a rural, remote area which after only 3 months was on the verge of closing. Here the idea rose for a different approach to conventional health infrastructure. In this talk we hear the story of a man that decided to make a difference.
