Ultravision - Revolutionary Laparoscopic Surgical Smoke Handling - Alesi Surgical - Video

This clip shows the use of Ultravision in laparoscopic cholecystectomy (gall bladder removal). The image on the left shows how quickly Ultravision clears the surgical smoke from the visual field by accelerating its natural sedimentation. This gives excellent visual field quality throughout the procedure without needing to release the smoke into the operating room. The image on the right shows how poor the visual field is without Ultravision. The * shows where the smoke is vented in to the operating room.
