What is Rutgers Environmental and Public Health Summer Program?

The Rutgers EPH certificate program gives you the in-depth training, hands-on field experience and credential you need to begin a rewarding career in environmental health. Upon successful complete of the program you are eligible to take the exam to earn your Registered Environmental Health Specialist (REHS) license. Part environmental detective, part public health expert, part educator, an REHS plays a vital role in protecting the public and the environment.

Graduates of the EPH program have gone on to become town/city/county health inspectors, restaurant inspectors, food safety auditors, quality control specialists, health officers, bioterrorism planners, pollution investigators, HazMat professionals, environmental health & safety managers and much more!
