PhysioMimix - Liver Consumable Plate
The PhysioMimix™ MPS-TL6 plate enables organ to organ crosstalk for multi-organ studies. The MPS-TL6 plate enables true 2-organ communication between a Transwell® and a Liver compartment in 6 independent wells, both with their own circular flow. Each Transwell compartment accommodates standard 24-well plate 0.33 cm2 Transwell® inserts. Each liver compartment contains an embedded three dimensional scaffold which facilitates the creation of a 3D liver microtissue from primary human hepatocytes (and non-parenchymal liver cells), that mimics the architecture and function of its in vivo counterpart. Transwell® and Liver compartments are linked together by an interconnect pump which enables independent recirculation of media from one compartment to the other to facilitate inter-organ crosstalk.
