ECO MEDICS offers an innovative range of computerized pulmonary diagnostic products ranging from infants (>3 kg), children to adults for routine clinical use and scientific research.

The unique combination of the patented ultrasonic flow measurement and precise gas analysis, especially nitric oxide, enables a comprehensive measurement of pulmonary parameters.

The ANALYZER CLD 88 sp and EXHALYZER D instruments are designed in close cooperation with leading scientists in Europe and America to meet the needs of intensivists and pneumologists worldwide.

ECO MEDICS markets its products through its direct sales force in selected markets as well as through exclusive distributors worldwide to hospitals, clinics, pulmonary function laboratories and research institutes.

Precision Breath by Breath

The ECO MEDICS products offer highest precision for analyzing various pulmonary function parameters in cooperative and non-cooperative patients from newborn to adult age.

The ANALYZER CLD 88 series with DENOX 88 performs measurements of the fractional concentration of exhaled nitric oxide (FeNO) in accordance to the ATS/ERS 2005 recommendations. The measurement principle is based on chemiluminescence, which is the most precise and the only detection method recommended by the ATS/ERS guidelines. The instrument can be used for all age groups from newborns to adult patients. Besides single breath tests for cooperative patients and multiple breath tests for non-cooperative patients, nasal nitric oxide, alveolar nitric oxide and offline tests can be performed.

The EXHALYZER^® D measures a range of pulmonary function parameters: Breath flow, lung volume, FRC/LCI, lung mechanics tests, inspiratory and expiratory volumes, CO2, O2 and FeNO values give insight into the patient’s pulmonary condition. All lung function tests follow the procedure recommended by the ATS/ERS or approved publications (Infant Respiratory Function Testing, Stocks J et al.)

All measurements with the ANALYZER CLD 88 series and EXHALYZER^® D can be started, recorded and evaluated with the user-friendly SPIROWARE^® software package. The graphical presentation of results allows a quick overview and facilitates straightforward evaluation. All results can be exported to user-specific reports or centralized data storage such as hospital information systems.
