A part of blue light is beneficial for health, in particular for regulating our biological clock. But part of the blue light spectrum, ‘blue-violet’ light is potentially harmful to the eye. Emitted naturally by the sun, these rays are also through artificial light sources such as lighting fixtures or screens (televisions, computers, etc.)
