GeoEnvironment Technologies provides the cleanest, safest, and most cost-effective option for municipal biosolids disposal and industrial wastewater treatment: the deep earth digestion of biosolids. This technique is enabled by our patented slurry injection technique, which allows the emplacement of biosolids within hot, anaerobic deep earth formations, thereby facilitating the breakdown of the residual carbon content and permanently sequestering the carbon dioxide, methane, and other byproducts. Since July 2008, we have worked with the City of Los Angeles, the Department of Energy, and the US EPA to implement Deep Earth Digestion / Sequestration of biosolids using slurry injection at the successful Terminal Island Renewable Energy project (TIRE). This flagship facility has proven the benefits of our technology and paved the way to roll out a green, affordable solution to other cities and municipalities around the country.
