Hungry Giant Waste Systems designs, manufactures, commissions and services a range of Waste and recycling equipment all across the world. Founded by Chris O`Brien in 2006 based in Sydney Australia, our founder invented a compact expanded polystyrene densifying machine that revolutionized big box retailers handling of Styrofoam at the store level. Chris adapted to demand for management of services and built his waste management company to handle all the waste and recycling collection needs of his clients that he sold or rented his machines to. Chris built that business over 7 years and sold ReSource Environmental Solutions (www.wastemanagement.com.au) in 2017 to Wanless Waste Corp and moved to the US where he continues to grow HG. Chris and his team have also founded their sister company, Proven Sustainable Solutions (www.provenwaste.com) that provides innovative waste management services across North America.
